Solicitors Negligence
The new Code of Conduct for Solicitors came into force on the 1st July 2007 and sets out the duties of solicitors which are:-
- Upholding justice and the rule of law.
- Integrity.
- Independence.
- Acting in the best interests of clients .
- Providing good standards of service to clients.
- Not to behave in a way which diminishes public confidence in the profession.
Central to this code is to provide high standards of service to clients whilst acting in their best interests.
We believe that the majority of solicitors perform their duties to the same high standards that we do. Unfortunately, we are sometimes asked to take on cases on behalf of clients who think that their personal injury claim has been badly handled by their solicitor and have suffered loss as a result.
You should seek advice as soon as possible if you consider your claim has been harmed for one or more of the following reasons:-
- Failure to issue or serve proceedings.
- Non-compliance.
- Suing the wrong defendant.
- Undersettling the claim.
- Failure to consider; future/past earnings; disadvantage in the job market; all financial losses arising from the accident.
Macks Solicitors are one of the few law firms who have the expertise, or willingness, to sue negligent personal injury solicitors and will give you the best possible advice as to the how to seek justice and/or compensation. If you believe your personal injury claim has been handled negligently by your solicitor call us on Freephone 0800 731 7250 and we will advise you, without obligation, as to whether you have a valid claim.
Have you felt let down and disappointed because your claim for personal injury compensation was not dealt with in the professional and efficient manner you had expected?
We at Macks know that when a case is handled poorly you may fail to get the compensation settlement you deserve. If this has been your experience all is not lost. It is possible for us to pursue on your behalf a claim of negligence against whoever has let you down. If your claim has been badly handled we may be able to act on your behalf to recover the compensation that is rightfully yours.
We can make a claim for you if you believe your personal injury compensation has been incorrectly handled because of one or more of the following:
Missed time limits
Failure to issue court proceedings
Failure to serve court proceedings
Suing the incorrect defendant
Under-settling the claim
Failure to fully consider past/future loss of earnings
Failure to consider disadvantage on the labour market
Failure to accurately value the injury claim
Failure to consider all financial losses resulting from the accident
We at Macks have successfully sued many solicitors for negligence, and are here to help you if your claim has suffered because of this.
